Fabbrica d'Armi Pietro Beretta S.p.A. is an Italian manufacturer of firearms based in Gardone Valtrompia (BS).
THE LOGISTICS CHALLENGE
The priority of Beretta was to rationalize the manufacturing processes by ensuring that materials were supplied at the right time and in the right quality to the machines tools avoiding any possible malfunctions or downtime caused by items out of stock.
THE SOLUTION
A SILO2 multi-column VLM equipped with transparent polycarbonate panels has been installed in the site of Gardone Val Trompia (BS, Italy). This special feature allows to meet the Company’s need of monitoring the stored items and control every in / out operations.
